The following grading syllabus is designed to guide the student through a continuous development from Gokyu to Ikkyu. In addition to the techniques that follow, the student is expected to present the following, at each grading:
• Katate dori tai-no-henko
• Morote dori kokyu ho
• Suwari waza kokyu dosa
The student is also expected to be able to demonstrate any techniques from previous grades.
